Quick answers for using Privata across projects, collections, AI tools, and billing.
Create a project, attach one or more collections, then upload source documents. Choose the processing method (Q&A for question extraction and answer generation, or Proposal for full-response workflows). Privata processes the document, stores context in your knowledge base, and lets you review, refine, and export outputs.
Your knowledge base is organized through collections. Uploaded files and extracted content are indexed so AI tools can retrieve relevant context during search, summarization, proposal generation, and other tasks.
A practical pattern is to organize collections by product line (for reusable product specs, capabilities, and pricing) or by solution/use case (for targeted proposal content). Keep collection names specific and avoid mixing unrelated domains in one collection.
A project is your workspace for a specific opportunity or initiative. It links documents, collections, and AI tools so all outputs (responses, summaries, images, presentations, profiles) stay grouped by objective.
Use Content Search from the navigation bar or from a project’s AI Tools section. Enter your query, optionally scope to project context, and review the returned snippets and source references to quickly locate supporting content.
Open the Document Summarizer tool, choose your source document/project, and select the summary style and output format. Privata generates a concise summary and lets you export it for internal or client-facing use.
Use the Profile/Background Generator from a project. Provide focus areas and any required tone, then generate documents such as company profiles, capability statements, technical backgrounds, and similar supporting narratives.
Open Generate Presentation, describe what you need, and set slide count. Privata uses project and collection context to draft a presentation you can review and download.
Use Public Bid Search to query opportunities and filter for relevance to your capabilities. You can save promising opportunities and use project tools to build response content around them.
Go to Billing & Subscription and review Billing History. Use the Receipt/Invoice links in each row to open available Stripe invoice or payment documents.
Privata workflows are designed so model calls are request-driven rather than relying on long-term model memory. Context is supplied per request from your controlled project/collection scope, this removes unnecessary persistence and supports confidentiality-focused operations.
Open your Profile page, go to the Danger Zone, and use Delete My Account. Review the deletion warning carefully before confirming.
